The constant updating of applications is great but it does make it very difficult to keep up-to-date with the latest options.
This webinar made me aware of some really powerful options for visualisations and presentations, noteworthy bits below:
- Map chart types, I was aware of these but haven’t actually used them in earnest (more info here:
https://support.office.com/en-ie/article/create-a-map-chart-f2cfed55-d622-42cd-8ec9-ec8a358b593b ) - Morph (simplifying need for animations and offering Prezi style functionality:
https://24slides.com/presentbetter/powerpoint-morph-and-zoom-features/ ) – also works with 3d models. Build the relevant slides via duplication, then select those slides and the morph transition option, PPT now clever enough to recognise the same shapes across slides to ‘morph’ them via this animation option. - Ink replay: coming soon for whiteboarding type videos (
